Common Questions

Hungary Study Visa - Frequently Asked Questions

Requirements vary by university and program, so we review your profile individually before recommending where to apply. Book a free consultation and we'll tell you exactly which universities fit your current IELTS band.

Interviews typically focus on four areas: why you chose your subject, why you chose your university, why you chose Hungary, and your future goals after graduation. Some programs also include a basic, SSC-level mathematics test. Our free prep sessions walk you through realistic practice questions for each of these.

All three matter, but for Hungary we recommend thinking about the city early - visa approval rates vary between cities, and this affects which university and subject choices make the most sense for your situation. We guide you through this trade-off during consultation.

Keep your answer focused on your studies - talk about the university's academic environment, facilities, and how the city supports your program, rather than income or work opportunities. Since your visa is issued for study purposes, framing your answer around earning money is one of the most common reasons for rejection.

Yes. A study gap doesn't rule you out, but it does affect which universities are likely to offer admission. We'll match you with universities that are realistic for your specific gap and profile.
